Forgotten Dream - Make Music NY 2023
Libraries and Lions go hand in hand. In a way, Library users are lions in that they gain wisdom within each and every book they read.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, I returned to the place where it all began—the first Oneness concert with Make Music NY in 2019. The feeling of joy and connection through music was like coming full circle.

Joseph Darcourt, a cello student at the Juilliard School Pre-college and founder of "Olifeclass.org," launched the "Oneness Concert- Love & Light for All" on June 21, 2019, as part of Make Music New York. His passion for promoting "Thank You Breathing Meditation" and music for individual and collective well-being led him to create the "M&M/Music and Meditation" workshop at the age of 11. Make Music New York 2023 will take place in front of the New York Public Library between the lions. Joseph's "M&M" initiatives demonstrate his commitment to inspiring others to prioritize mental and emotional well-being and rediscover the power of community. In a time when our nation has become increasingly isolated, Joseph's dedication offers hope that we can find ways to come together and support each other despite the challenges we face. By emphasizing the importance of self-care and and connection, Joseph's work encourages us to prioritize our well-being and strength our sense of belonging.
